Apple released iMovie 8.0.4 with some minor bug fixes.

The latest iMovie makes using videos from the iPhone 3GS a little easier, but doesn’t address the awkward import procedure. The update addresses issues when recorded aspect on videos. For example, the fix should orientate the video correctly whether the video was recorded horizontally for 4x3 or the narrower vertical position.

In total, the update’s fix list includes:

- Fixed a problem with incorrect rotation when working with video created by iPhone 3GS
- Resolved instability when adding multiple beat markers in some languages
- Corrected an issue where iMovie could become unresponsive after using fine-tuning controls beyond the stabilized portions of a clip

iMovie update is available for the Software Update utility or downloaded directly.
