Google+ 3.1 or iOS adds support for the social service's Hangout video feature. With Hangouts, users can video chat with circles of friends on Google +, in addition to streaming a Hangout for other to just view. With version 3.1 of the app, this can now be done directly from the handset.
Along with the Hangout feature, the system now permits teenagers to join and create video chats, where before the service was restricted to adults. The other feature added was support for Chrome where web links can option in Chrome rather than Safari.
