The Wavejamr is a Bluetooth audio receiver with an Apple 30-pin dock connector. Essentially you can plug the receiver into any music device with a powered 30-pin connector and stream music wireless. Music can be sent from any Bluetooth device, including iPhones, iPads, iPod touch, but also Macs/PCs, plus any other device capable of transmitting via Bluetooth. The idea is you can plug this device into a speaker dock or accessory cable, rather than plugging in the device directly. This might be convenient for use with speaker docks, with say an iPad or iPhone in a case, which might not dock, or any stereo with an AUX input such as a car or home theater. The device itself has no battery and pulls power entirely from the connection, which means the dock must be powered. Anything dock running off of batteries will likely need a wall charger. The Wavejamr supports A2DP Bluetooth protocol for high quality stereo music. Bluetooth can work up to 33 feet, depending on your environment. The Wavejamr is available now for $39.95. RadTech
