Along with the iPhone 5, Apple in September began taking pre-orders for the new iPods and Lightning adapters. The new iPod touch, iPod nano, and two different adapters for Apple's new Lightning port were expected to start shipping in October. It seems that date is here as orders have started the shipping process. The new iPod touch features an all-new design that resembles the 4-inch iPhone 5 and also comes in new colors. It also features with a dual-core A5 processor and new iSight camera. The iPod nano is also an an new design that comes in similar array of new pastel colors. Apple is selling two Lightning adapters include a 30-pin dock-style adapter for $29 and a 30-pin cable adapter for $39.
