NuForce announced a new S3-BT wireless speaker. The speaker features AptX Bluetooth compression for CD-Quality audio transmitted over Bluetooth. To achieve the higher quality codec, iOS users will need to purchase a separate dongle, such as the NuForce Air DAC. Otherwise, the product work like standard Bluetooth speaker, which can be paired easily with an OS X or iOS.The speaker features 18 watt RMS across two 1-inch tweeter and two 3.5-inch woofers. The speaker also features an analog input if you don't want to run it wirelessly. The product is wrapped in soft black or white leatherette and can sit on a bookshelf. The NuForce S3-BT is expected to start shipping at the end of October for $299. NuForce
