This is a really cool idea with a lot of possibilities, but this is limited by expense and LED lighting. The bulb here is rated at 600 lums, or compared to about a 50 watt incandescent bulb, and priced at $60 each. That's not much light from a single bulb. A starter pack is required that includes a required LAN bridge and three bulbs for $200. That's not at all practical, but more solutions should be coming to market soon.
