BBEdit 10.5 adds Retina Display support

By

The long-time text editor for Mac BBEdit from Bare Bones Software got a major update. The full list of changes is quite long, but the most noteworthy feature is support for Apple's Retina Display Macs. This means Retina users can view all their text editing work more crisply on Apple's 2x pixel displays.

The full list of fixes and improvements is linked below.

BBEdit 10.5 requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later and an Intel-based Mac. The update is free for current 10.x users. BBEdit sells for $49.99.
